My setups are based on monthly candle and some weekly candle breakouts. That makes out for holding positions many weeks, maybe months. Sometimes I end up having interest received, sometimes interest paid.

I see the interest paid on carry impact as a “cost of doing business”, just like taxes on capital gains.
